History. Viktor’s mother died giving birth to him. His father blamed him for her death and despised him for most of his life, abusing him in horrendous ways during his childhood. His father even attempting to kill him on several occasions, though never did. Possibly because of some underlying fatherly instinct, but Viktor never did find out why. He was born with a mild case of bi-polar disorder, though over time, it worsened and caused him to have fits of mania on occasion.
Viktor always showed an interest in bones and was quite smart for his age. His father, being a surgeon, decided to allow his son to pursue a medical career when he was old enough. After graduating, he kept a surgeon job for awhile, though was fired eventually for his increasingly sadistic methods.
Then, the war started and he instantly signed up, quickly rising the ranks until he became one of the head doctors at one of the larger camps. He was known as “Die Orthopäde” (The Orthopedist) for his extreme affinity for human bones/skeletons.
One day, he met a young Jewish woman at his camp named Brigitta. For some reason he instantly liked her and kept her as his “lover” for awhile. She hated him with a fiery passion, but that only made him love her more. Not really knowing how to love, he treated her how he thought one would treat a loved one… but that ended up killing her in the end. He grieved over her death for a long time (and still does occasionally) and kept her skeleton in his office for the entire length of time that he stayed at the camp. He would talk to the skeleton and treat it like a live person at times, slowly revealing more of his insanity.
When the war ended, he was captured by invading American troops. He was deemed “mentally insane” and was quickly put into an insane asylum, under heavy guard. Viktor lived there for the remainder of his days until one day Reliable Excavation Demolition gave him the option to come work for them. He immediately agreed. As time went by, his behavior and mental state only got worse until he met up with his soon to be best friend, Klaus Valentin. They became fast friends and through this, Viktor mellowed out considerably.
Later, Viktor met his future wife, Pascale Egon. Through a long series of events, the two eventually married and had two children, Ninette and Benjamin. Both were accidents, but were welcomed nevertheless. He currently resides at 2Fort with his family.
Extra Information? Doesn’t clean his uniform/weapons as often as he should, so they tend to get a bit dirty and bloodstained (though he keeps his gloves/hands clean, like the good doctor he still believes he is). Tends to leave his room/workspace in a messy state as well. Isn’t a huge fan of sweets.
